Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative including angels, fiends, and dark forces growing in influence within the city.
Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.
The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed
The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
With 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.
This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.
What Defines the Soldiers Table
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are rare.
Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
First, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking the rogue, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.
The traitor then cleared his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.
Individual Reasons
Secondly, each member has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, seeks retribution.
- The adventurer knows the region and advises that it is a hostile environment.
- The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
- However, their position as key figures in the influential clan could enable the group access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Additionally, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:
- The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
- The strong figure and Wicander defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.
This leaves them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in search of the traitor.

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Seekers and Schemers tables.
