In a surprising crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Uncovered
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden group.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Material
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana together with multiple objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
